Description
WordPress is prone to a possible security bypass vulnerability. Exploiting this issue may allow attackers to perform otherwise restricted actions and subsequently reset user's password and gain unauthorized access to their WordPress account. WordPress versions ranging from 0.70 and up to (and including) 4.7.4 are vulnerable.
Remediation
As a temporary solution users can enable UseCanonicalName to enforce static SERVER_NAME value, or see the referenced patch
